The
Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) has
strongly protested the false and misleading information about Vietnamese
pangasius posted on the CFA website.
As the Gulf Coast oil spill continues to gush, U.S. seafood suppliers

turning to Asia to ensure Americans have enough shrimp for their gumbos,
Creoles and cocktails this summer, but some of those overseas cupboards
are low
themselves.
The U.S. Department of Commerce announced
in the Federal Register on
Friday that it has concluded its five-year review of antidumping tariffs
on shrimp imports from Thailand, China, India and Brazil, ruling that
rescinding the duties “would likely lead to continuation or recurrence
of dumping.”
